Oxford Police Department Honor Guard visits Washington, D.C.
The week of May 11th through May 17th is National Police Week.  Leading up to this week of events Oxford Police Chief Bill Partridge and the Police Honor Guard visited Washington, D.C.  While there they laid a wreath in honor of Oxford Police Department's fallen officers, Chief C.E. Sparks (1948), Captain William Beard (1977) and Lt. Dexter Holcombe (2007).  On Saturday, May 10, 2014 they had the honor of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
